Chapter - 1. (as my intention is to continue writing and not be away)
I know, it's been a while. A loooooong while since I wrote to you my friend. I did miss you but please believe me I was busy. 😂LOL!! Sorry I was lazy and just didn't connect with you. However, I am back.
How are you? Safe, at home? SANE??? (Hoping). But you see I am not. I have lost it! Now that we are in a Global #Lockdown (well almost), my mind has a lot of time to itself and is conjugating all thoughts, dreams, nightmares of "WHAT IF'S"... even of the world coming to an end, not like in the movies - I ain't that Basic.. (well, a topic for another time maybe).
Today's focus - my inspiration to write - well what else, People - my favourite kind of reading ever since I understood that I actually could read well 90% of them. And the trait I find so common in them - more than common cold and (THE you know what).. #Stupidity.. The cherry on the top!!
I love #StupidPeople, why, you ask? They keep my brain in motion - provide enough fodder to rant, vent my frustrations (nicotine withdrawal, nothing else, don't get ideas)..
So I was having a sane moment with my morning cup of #Chai and my father in the small structure in the Mumbai apartments you call "DECK"!! And - Lo & Behold, I see 2 Aunties (50+) walking and gathering flowers and touching various metallic objects in doing so. WHAT? I mean seriously WHAT??? 😱Aren't we in a #Lockdown? Aren't we supposed to be indoors unless completely essential to go out? What happened to the requests, appeals and apologies of #PMNarendraModi ji? - (Got another💡for another time).
Are people unaware of the threat called #CoronaVirus? Don't they know that they actually could be infected now and in turn infect the whole housing society? Assuming, they don't really care about their neighbours, they must be concerned about their own families? Hey I am in the most Vulnerable Category, High Risk and all that.. I don't want to DIE for other's #Stupidity. And why should I pay the price?
Of all the moments, today's pain is how shall I make them aware of this, with all the #SocialDistancing. Our Society has no awareness posters, no texts and no print messages like we do for Ganpati! And I thought we didn't need them, because these are all educated & sophisticated people, around me. AND There's TV, Internet. Are they so dumb that they simply want to ignore. DON'T you see the NEWS - Escalations is cases and deaths in the World? Or is it only for BIGG BOSS and the other idiotic shows?
